Making Leaps and Bounds
As we roll from Week 5 into Week 6, the puppies have truly transformed into bouncy little bundles of joy! Their personalities are shining brighter than ever, and there’s never a dull moment in our home.
They’ve officially found their footing and are now running, hopping, and playfully tumbling over one another. With their tiny teeth starting to come in, they’ve also begun learning how to play together—complete with gentle nibbles, playful pounces, and lots of curious exploration.
Another big milestone this week: more solid food! The puppies are happily chowing down and becoming more confident eaters as they continue transitioning away from mom.
Mr. Red enjoys his first time outside!
One of the most exciting moments this week was their first outdoor adventure! We set up a small playpen in the front yard so they could safely explore. Let’s just say… the grass was a very new experience. Some puppies jumped right in with curiosity, while others weren’t quite sure what to think of it yet—but that’s all part of the learning process!
We’ve also made great progress with potty training. Most, if not all, of the puppies are now using their pee pads consistently and have stopped having accidents on the tile—such a big win! 🎉
Ms. Silver had a fun time playing around in the sprinklers!
On top of all that, we introduced a little basic training this week, starting with the command “sit.” It’s still early, but many of the puppies are already catching on that listening comes with tasty rewards. They’re learning more each day and are well on their way to becoming well-mannered companions.
Week 5 has been full of growth, learning, and lots of fun moments. We can’t wait to see what Week 6 brings!
Stay tuned for our next update! 💛
